Jennifer Lopez, you disappoint me.
Out of Sight, with co-star George Clooney, was such an awesome film with great chemistry with George Clooney.
Angel Eyes is OK, but is far from a heavenly treat.
Female police officer saves man in collision that kills his wife and young son. He saves her from potentially being gunned down on the job.
They meet. She doesn't remember him from the crash. Romantic sparks fly. She's curious about his mysterious past.
Domestic violence gets serious treatment here. That would be Toronto standing in for Chicago where film is supposed to be set. Was that the CN Tower I saw early on in this 2001 release? Now-closed discount emporium Honest Ed's is definitely seen in the background of another scene.
Lopez diehards may want to see Angel Eyes, but the rest of us can give this drama a gentle pass.
RATING: 6/10
